Author's Notes: I decided, who needs editing? Though honestly, this "story" (i.e. not a story in any sense of the word) isn't going to get any better with all the editing in the world. It was just an exercise in comedic timing in prose form, sparked by my husband's question of "What do you think Mel did in that elevator on the way up to her big entrance?"
Also, apparently I subscribe to the "only capitalize prepositions in titles when they're five letters or more" rule. I agonized over that capitalization far longer than I'd like to admit.
