No, not sound volume. I'm talking volume volume, as in liters.

Yesterday, I read a bunch of Tenth Doctor technobabble out loud to my husband and halfway through, I was completely out of air, as in empty and gasping. DT must have incredible lung power. How does he manage to hide those enormous things in that body?

Maybe he's done some breathing work. I took some in yoga class, and that's helped me. Mostly with being able to hold my breath long enough to walk past smokers without feeling faint, but still.

Yes, his voice is nice. I've been listening to Eighth Doctor stories from Big Finish. I finished all the ones I have and I want more. Love listening to Paul McGann's voice. :)

Oh, I'm sure he has. He's trained for stage, and I'm sure part of that is learning to control breath and project voice. When I was in London, we went to see "A Comedy of Errors" at the Globe, and the actors all spoke well and clearly. We could hear them perfectly up in the nosebleed seats.

At Gally, I was standing in line for the Kaffeeklatschen talking to the guy next to me and I heard Paul McGann talking as he passed by, and I nearly fainted on the spot. Gorgeous voice that man has. Tom Baker has that beautiful striking voice, but he can't beat Paul McGann for pure smooth gold.

And who knows what he learned as a lad? Yes, I've been to a few plays and been high up. One theatre in Portland was particularly good.

This year? Did I mention that I had to stop at the hotel store to get eye drops (being sick and not having slept well the night before driving out left me with dry and red eyes)? Who did I see as I walked out of the store? Yep. Paul McGann. I went unnoticed as he talked with a few people, but I hung nearby to listen to the sound of his voice until the group walked off. So I definitely agree on the voice.

Yoga does help, and he seems bendy enough to do the yoga poses, too! Plough position is one of my favorites; coming out of it slowly, engaging your whole core and breathing through it is a real workout. You feel so satisfied after it's done.
